“Iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. – Proverbs 27:17

Wildmen Ministry began Florida in 2002 with 8 men who got together to attend a “40 Days of Purpose” small group. Designed to promote discipleship, fellowship, worship, ministry and outreach, Wildmen provides a safe place where men can come and be men as they grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.  Today there are Outposts throughout the United States where groups, both large and small, meet on a regular basis to do life together and to experience Christ as He intended.

The Wildmen Vermont is one of our more recent Outposts that began when one of our orignal Wildmen members moved to the Greater Burlington area a short time ago.  We are looking for like-minded men who would like to carry the Ransomed Heart message forward in Vermont and New England.

Our Wildmen Outposts are independent sites chartered by Wildmen Ministry and typically do not meet in a church and do not represent a singular denomination. Outposts minister to men from multiple church congregations, or to men who presently do not attend a church congregation.

Wildmen Ministry Inc. is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit, Tax-Deductible Organization.

I have been involved with both in-person and virtual groups that Wildmen Vermont, and Scott Ptak have facilitated. This group is the real deal. They gently and lovingly lead men towards the restoration of their hearts. Using God's Word, and the teaching material from Ransomed Heart, Scott shows that he is a gifted teacher/speaker/facilitator who is anointed by God to share this incredible message of life and freedom. If you have the opportunity to engage with this group of men, please do it - your life will be the richer for it.

The real deal ! Thank You Scott for providing an excellent online Boot Camp. I wish I could have attended the Catalina Intensive you and the Wildmen did but I hope you do it again! I know someone who went . The online Boot Camp encouraged me and moved me forward. Looking forward to more but how about on the East coast? An excellent ministry!

I've known Scott P for quite a few years. He's the real-deal. This man can hang with the toughest of them, but also has dealt with more pain and sorrow than many will ever see. His heart is to see you come fully alive as a man so that you can live situationally aware as a follower of Christ. If you have the chance and, are in the area, check out this group. I suspect that, like me, you'll be glad that you did. Wildmen is Christianity without the BS.

When I started with Wildman, well let's just say I was just discovering that it wasn't necessarily all about me. And there was also a inner fear of going forward, insecurity was running amuck. These "men", this band of brothers, helped me pullout and pull up, and learned just who was really in charge, of the things I could not control. But God!, put these men, this band, in my life and together showed me more about Christ and freedom in him! Now, I will still profess that without them I would not have been here, leading and facilitating different Men's Ministry groups. Since I started, this group has expanded, not just to other churches, but other cities, states, and yes even countries. Don't believe it? Let Scott, and Wildman, show you, through Christ!

This Wild at Heart message contains such freedom! I am one of this Band of Brothers, and taking this journey with other men is so very important. I find that living in “The Larger Story” has called me up out of myself to fight for my wife, my children and just stay in this tough fight to love God and resist evil. I understand and embrace my good, masculine character that God formed within me. I am called to engage into this world at war… but in a way that is not selfish (as in its all about me) but with a strength that is needed, a warrior spirit (put in my heart by God), and compassion for others. Somehow I have learned to love more and fear less, as a natural default way of thinking. This was a transforming message for me, restoring my relationships with my wife, my children and, most of all, myself. I believe it will be for you as well. (For an understanding of the “Larger Story” read Epic (by John Eldredge) which is lesson one of the Boot Camp Experience) (Then, of course, read Wild at Heart) Take this journey - freedom awaits!
